Alex Rabinovich, CEO of InterCure

This week our hosts Anne and Nick are chatting with Alex Rabinovich, the CEO of NASDAQ-listed InterCure. Based out of Israel, InterCure is Israel’s largest licensed cannabis producer and a rapidly expanding player in the international cannabis market.

Israel and the quickly growing international cannabis marketplace isn’t something that we explore much of so it was a real treat to sit down with Alex and learn more about the similarities and differences of Israel compared to the U.S. and Canada. 

Alex joined The Green Rush to give us a rundown of what the Israeli cannabis marketplace looks like today, the growth and opportunity of international expansion into countries like Germany, the UK and Austria, and insights into the Company’s recent partnerships with North American cannabis producers like Tilray, Organigram and Cookies.

2022 Cannabis and Psychedelics Kickoff!

Welcome to the Green Rush, a KCSA Strategic Communications Production, and a weekly conversation hosted by Anne Donohoe and Nick Opich.

Rick Doblin, Founder and Executive Director of MAPS

This week on the Green Rush, we’re reaching way back into the vault to revisit Lewis Goldberg and Anne Donohoe first interviewed Rick Doblin, Founder and Executive Director of MAPS. Founded by Rick in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization that develops medical, legal, and cultural contexts for people to benefit from the careful uses of psychedelics and marijuana.

Elias “The Spartan” Theodorou, MMA Fighter and Medical Cannabis Advocate

In a monumental decision back in January 2020, Elias became the first professional athlete to receive a Therapeutic Use Exemption for medical cannabis. Lewis discussed that process with Elias, how he uses cannabis in his training and recovery and what he believes needs to change about the relationship between sports leagues and cannabis. 

In the conversation, Elias also touches on his work with New World, an augmented reality art-focused NFT company that allows creators, musicians, and celebrities to have access to an NFT distribution canvas to create and sell digital art. Elias touches on how the NFT market can be used to raise awareness and promote advocacy.
