Welcome to the Green Rush, a KCSA Strategic Communications Production, and a weekly conversation hosted by Anne Donohoe and Nick Opich.
Each episode we talk with the most interesting, influential, people in cannabis and psychedelic industries and this week our guest host Lewis Goldberg is chatting with George Allen, Chairman of the Board for Lowell Farms, a leading, vertically-integrated, cannabis company.
Based in Salinas, California, Lowell Farms grows artisan craft cannabis and prides itself on using sustainable materials, from seed to sale, to produce an extensive portfolio of award-winning originals, including Lowell Herb Co, Lowell Smokes, Cypress Cannabis, MOON, and Kaizen Extracts, for licensed retailers statewide and through licensing agreements in other states like Illinois, Massachusetts and Michigan.
Lewis sat down with George to talk about his transition to Lowell following his previous role as President of Acreage Holdings, the challenges of building a competitive cannabis brand in an oversaturated market like California, his expectations for the future of regulations both at the state and federal level and what has him most excited for the future evolution of the Lowell Farms brand.
So sit back and enjoy our conversation with George Allen.
