A veteran of investing in the CPG and grocery space, Ian has held a long passion about the ever-changing needs of consumers and bringing those evolving trends to light through data and analytics. Since helping to launch Delta Emerald in July 2019, Ian and his team have been building a diverse portfolio across the cannabis sector, allowing him to have a detailed understanding and unique insights into the growth potential across the entire cannabis ecosystem.
Anne and Nick sat down with Ian to explore his path to the cannabis industry and learn more about how Delta Emerald evaluates the market and where it sees the greatest opportunity. In addition, we explore the future of the MSO model, how regulations are changing the industry, consumer trends and branding as well as common misconceptions investors have about the industry.
