This week, Anne and guest host Nick Opich are chatting with Jeffrey Samuels, Vice President of the Cannabis Practice at Embroker, a digital insurance platform based in the Bay Area. Embroker is one of the few companies that have carved out a space specifically for the cannabis industry.
We all know that risk is inherent in cannabis- especially now during the COVID-19 crisis – and so much of the cannabis isn’t afforded the basic protections that other industries have access to – and insurance is usually at the top of that list. Jeff walks the team through issues that are vital to anyone in the cannabis industry right now including: What is their insurance coverage, how can they protect themselves when something like the Covid-19 pandemic hit and how to think about the future of your business.
If you’re an operator, ancillary service provider or anyone invested in the space, this is a great one to listen to.
So don’t sit back, lean forward and enjoy!

He is also the Vice President of Business Development at Hillview, a next-generation cannabis and hemp company based in Lincoln Park, NJ.
