Continuing our exploration into the growing cannabis beverage market, our guest this week on the Green Rush is Tracey Mason, Co-Founder and CEO of House of Saka. Founded in 2018 and with products officially launched in 2019, House of Saka is an up-and-coming luxury cannabis beverage brand in California made by women and for women.
Our hosts Anne and Nick wanted to sit down with Tracey as House of Saka’s beverages are kind of an entirely new category as a grape-based drink (so kind of like a wine) but instead of alcohol, the beverages are CBD and THC infused giving consumers a familiar and quick onset feeling.
As a former executive at drink powerhouse Diageo, Tracey has long been involved in the luxury beverage business and walked our hosts through the burgeoning cannabeverage marketplace. Covering branding/marketing, comparisons to the hard seltzer industry and House of Saka’s growth plans, Tracey illustrated the opportunity for beverages to make a dent in the edibles space, especially amongst new users.
So don’t sit back, lean forward and enjoy!
